Registration under the Data Protection Act 2019
Kenya's Data Protection Act 2019 requires many data controllers and processors to register with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner, including some foreign companies that process data about people in Kenya. Certificates must be renewed, and the ODPC has been chasing organisations whose registrations have lapsed.
