Digital products for African markets, built by people who know them
Building for Africa means building for many markets at once: different currencies, payment habits, languages and data laws. We work with businesses in Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Rwanda, Egypt, Côte d'Ivoire and beyond, and we design each product around the people who will actually use it.
Talk to usOne product, several payment cultures
A checkout that works in Lagos can fail in Nairobi. Kenyans expect M-Pesa, Ghanaians expect MTN MoMo, and South African shoppers increasingly pay by instant EFT. Cards still matter, but they are rarely enough on their own.
We plan payments country by country. Paystack covers Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa from one integration; Flutterwave reaches further. Where a market needs a direct connection, such as Safaricom's Daraja API for M-Pesa or a South African provider like Ozow, we build it in and keep the reporting in one place.
Data laws differ by country, and they are enforced
Most African markets now have a data protection law with a regulator behind it. Nigeria has the NDPA 2023, Ghana the Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843), Kenya the Data Protection Act 2019, South Africa POPIA, Rwanda Law No. 058/2021 and Egypt Law No. 151 of 2020.
Several of these require registration with the regulator, including for some foreign companies that handle residents' data. We map which rules apply to your product before we build, so consent, storage and cross-border transfers are handled properly from day one rather than patched later.
Designed for real phones and real networks
Across the continent, the phone is the main way people get online, and many are mid-range Android devices on prepaid data. We test on those devices, not just on the latest iPhone.
That shapes everything: lighter pages, apps that cope with a dropped connection, SMS or WhatsApp fallbacks for important messages, and French or Arabic versions where your audience needs them. A product that respects people's data costs gets used more.

FAQ
Working with us from Africa
Can one website or app serve several African countries?
Yes, and it is usually cheaper than building separate products. We plan currencies, payment methods, languages and data rules per country, then switch them on by market from a single codebase.
Do you build in French for francophone markets?
Yes. We build multilingual sites and apps with proper language versions for search engines, and we work with native-speaking translators rather than relying on machine translation alone.
How do you work with clients outside Nigeria?
Remotely, with regular video calls and a shared project board. Ghana is one hour behind Nigeria, South Africa one hour ahead and Kenya two hours ahead, so our working days overlap almost completely.
